MattLures once again stayed true to style of building natural looking swimbaits. Full fins, scale patterns and a lifelike paint job.

P1012826 - ©MikeLongOutdoorsMattLures used a taxidermy grade glass eye which looks incredible and the eye socket is slightly pointed downward to really make this lure look life-like in the water.

P1012825 - ©MikeLongOutdoorsMattLures hand painted the pectoral fins onto the sides of the bait and added some light gold tint to the paint of the fins that really shines and looks natural when the sunlight hits them.

The tail of the MattLures Glide Bass is made of a soft material that flexes slightly and should not break for the life of the bait.

Mike Long

Mike Long, is well known for monster bass, like the 20.12 oz largemouth bass taken from Dixon Lake in 2001. That fish put him at number ten on the world record list, but it wasn’t his only large fish. He is among a handful of bass fisherman with hundreds of fish over 10 lbs to his credit.

Mike – great report as usual; always bringing us the latest and greatest! Matt builds some of the best swimbaits out there IMO, and this one I’m sure is right up there in the world of glide baits. Was wondering how you would describe the action of the bait? What is MLO grade/rating, 1 out of 5? Any significant pro’s and cons that you can see?

Thanks for all you to share with us; this site is definitely in my “favorites” !
